Elvira Müller is Vice President at LASER ANALYTICA, where she manages the HEOR and market access consulting team based in Germany. She oversees the strategic, scientific, and operational performance in a broad range of global services covering value and reimbursement dossiers, reimbursement strategic advice, health technology assessments (HTA) as well as modeling and simulation internationally. For German market needs, she and her team focus on strategy consulting, dossier development and advanced analytics tailored to AMNOG requirements. She has 15 years of experience in global market access and health economic engagements and applies her senior expertise in providing high-quality scientific evidence to optimize the value of pharmaceuticals and medical technologies.
Following her academic career, Elvira joined Germany-based Analytica International in 2000 as senior scientist and since then held various positions including Department Head, Vice President of Global Outcomes Research and Vice President managing the German business unit. Elvira has led numerous assignments in global HEOR evidence synthesis and analytics as well as local market access engagements. Elvira’s broad experience ranges from health technology assessment, economic analyses and reimbursement submissions to market access strategy and training.
Elvira has presented at national and international conferences and is author of many peer-reviewed publications. She is a member of ISPOR, HTAi and iHEA and holds memberships in national organizations as well. She has an affiliation with the State University Baden-Württemberg, Germany, where she gave lectures in Public Health and Health Technology Assessment and oversees bachelor theses. In addition, she gives seminars on German market access at university educational courses, for instance at the Conservatoire National des Arts et Metiers, France.
Prior to joining LASER ANALYTICA, she was a research associate at the Institute of Epidemiology in Ulm, Germany, and at the Institute for Social Medicine, Epidemiology, and Health Economics at the Charité University Medical Center in Berlin, Germany, where she also served as lecturer in health economics, epidemiology and rehabilitative medicine. Elvira earned an MSc and PhD in Biology and Toxicology from the University of Würzburg, Germany, and a Master of Public Health in Health Economics and Epidemiology from the University of Ulm, Germany.
